Description

Jack is a domestic cat with black and white fur. He has black fur covering both of his eyes. He currently isn’t wearing a collar. He has had a cut inside the left side of his ear which had scanned over the last time we saw him but could now be bleeding. He’s 15 years old and has arthritis. He’s quite scared in general and isn’t quick to come to new people!

Message from Owner

Our lovely Jack has now been missing for 24 hours. He is 15 years old and wasn’t feeling well, which is making us increasingly worried as he has now been missing since around 5:45am on Tuesday 26th August. He normally only goes into our back garden and is never usually away for more than about 90 minutes. As some of the gardens are difficult for us to access, we would be incredibly grateful if everyone could please have a proper look in their garden, particularly under bushes, behind sheds/bins, in sheds or garages, and anywhere quiet or sheltered where he may have hidden himself. He may be frightened or unwell and might not respond if called, so please do have a look even if you haven’t heard him. We love him very much and just want to get him home safely. ❤️🐾 Thank you so much to everyone for looking out for Jack.

Give all details of your cat to the local postal sorting office and also to your own postman/postwoman. Posties are great as they go everywhere and see all. Good luck 🐈‍⬛

Please place its bedding 🛏 outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a contents of tuna can 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vaccumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors 🖼picture of the🐈 cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Also, you can put up a Sign post 📄with your 🐱📷 picture. In front of your 🏡lawn and to call you or contact you ASAP. Go early ⏰️ in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera / Baby monitor 📹 to monitor and see & hear if the cat is around your house 🏡. You can even ask your Local Pet 🐱 Animal Shelter to Rent out a Safe Trap and monitor it.. Praying for a soon safe return 🍀 of your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

I’m so sorry to hear this. Apparently emptying the contents of your vacuum cleaner outside can help (please google). Putting unwashed clothing outside and changing it every two days can help the cat pick up a scent and find their way home, especially with spraying a familiar perfume or cologne. Put posters everywhere - shops, lamp posts, cafes, train/tube/bus stops and door knock as many people don’t see posts on social media. Go out and call in the early hours of the morning. Let the local post office know too. Postmen see a lot. Also let the micro chip company and local vets know. Male cats have a wider radius so leaflet even in far away streets. Animal Search UK and Pets Reunited might have more tips. I really hope he comes home x
