🏡 🐈 If you are a Bengal cat lover and have lost or found a Bengal (or part Bengal or Savannah or tabby cat that may be mistaken for one) anywhere in Canada, please click our “Lost & Found” topic at the top of the homepage to review the listings. Welcome to post your own notice. Bulletins are submitted frequently. Help reunite these kitties with their guardians. Or please consider opening your heart and apply to adopt a less fortunate Bengal in need of a new permanent home. 🇨🇦 BENGAL CATS CANADA: BEST PRACTICES - EDUCATION https://www.facebook.com/groups/179981154098339/?ref=share_group_link 🇨🇦

A good list of things to do is on www.catsinthebag.org (Click in the actual link, not the box.) Also get signs up and file a lost report with Animal Services/local shelter(s) or a similar organization under another name, and keep checking their listings. Make sure your microchip is registered, and the company has your up to date info. And here is some helpful info: https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/lost-cat-behavior/ Post on Neighbourhood/community and any other applicable lost & found groups too.

Checking neighbors backyard properties is crucial. (Neighbors will not check as thoroughly as you will, or at all, so ask them if you can check) Indoor cats will hide quickly after getting outside. Check under bushes and remember, when afraid, they won’t respond to you calling them. Someone in my area had their cat get out and she found him 3 and a half weeks later only 4 houses away hiding in a backyard under patio furniture. The only reason he was detected was because the lady who lived there happened to look out her window and see him under the table in the backyard and recalled seeing the lost cat notice on our community FB page. -put out (unwashed) cat bed/blankets/your clothes that smell of home -put up posters in your area- important-not everyone is on facebook + if someone sees your cat but cannot find your lost cat post -leave a basement window or garage door open enough they can get in.

Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾
