Karen Feltz Thank you. Here's a full frontal view. Overall he is more white than black. And the 2 dots on his nostrils are distinctive.

Karen Feltz I walked part way down in Friendship Forest about a months ago. Talked to some people there, no sign. I wish we could drive in like we used to be able to, it's a damn long way in! What's there to eat there I wonder that there isn't nearby! I have looked in the wooded buffer areas between our condos and the condos/apts next door and in back. Have driven into a lot of these complexes but some of them are so large & there's so much deep woods back there below the road level, very discouraging. I have run into 2 small feral cat colonies with caretakers in the area but he hasn't been seen there. I do picture him as most likely either taken in by someone or hangin' with a cat colony that is well fed. I've watched him try to catch birds, squirrels, bugs etc. & he's rather inept at it; maybe being on his own has improved his abilities. One neighbor thinks he mainly chases them to play with them. His claws are certainly sharp enough that he should be a better tree climber than what I've seen of his attempts! And I've watched him chase cats outdoors, they run away but I think he wants to make friends with them. He does give up the chase pretty quickly. He's kind of like the lonely kid who comes on too strong that the other kids prefer to avoid. One night in Feb. after dark I heard angry cat yowls. I looked out the window, saw 2 other cats circling each other & making menacing noises, local ferals. They were on the right side of my car but then Chiaro popped up on the left side of the car, watching & listening intently but staying out of their sight. Anyway based on observed patterns I think it more likely that he went in the other direction, toward Stone Mtn.
