‼️SOS! We need the community’s help‼️ This afternoon we were contacted about a stray dog in the park. We were in the process of transporting our dogs back from the clinic in Scottsdale, so we were not able to respond quickly enough. By the time we got to the park, another good Samaritan picked up the dog. We had Owner contact, and we were with the owner on site, trying to reach out to the person who posted. The post was only six minutes old when we got there. We immediately contacted the microchip company to be sure all of his information was up-to-date, and that he had been reported lost. The owner had only left the area to go create flyers as quickly as he could so that he could get them hung up. We reached out to every single person that shares this name in the entire East Valley on Facebook and on any Finder apps with the hopes that maybe we could find this individual. We contacted every single vets office in the vicinity, asking them if anybody had brought this dog in to be scanned for a microchip. No vet has a record of this dog being scanned today. We are now desperately seeking the help of anybody and everybody who might possibly know the individual who picked this dog up today. The owner is completely distraught, and this dog is very well loved, as you can tell from the photo. He already has a newly engraved tag and an AirTag for when Dave is recovered. Our entire team has been exhausting every resource we can think of, including knocking on doors tonight. If you know of an individual who goes by this name, or you know of somebody who picked up a large breed brindle mix dog, please, please, please, first tell them thank you so much for caring enough to help this dog, and second, please have them reach out.
