Message from Owner

Please help me and my husband find our lost cat. His name is Tyson and he is an indoor cat that has been missing since February 28th. He does not go outside so he might be scared and we are worried about him because he has a heart murmur. He is extremely loved and missed.

Isabella Felder Did you go online and file a LOST Report with GCAS? Have you checked their stray intakes? Have you gone door to door to your neighbors and local Vets with flyers (his pic and your info)? Ask neighbors to check cameras and be on the lookout. I know it’s been almost 2 weeks but have you gone out at night or early in the morning with a flashlight and looked up in trees and in low places likes shrubs/bushes? Do you have any trail cameras that you can put further away from your home if you are near woods? Do not put his litter box out bc it can draw other animals or predators, but do put out some of your dirty laundry so that he can catch your scent. I hope you find him 💕

Gabby Tembre we have checked everywhere we can get to. There are multiple barns near us with unlimited hiding spots so we are hoping he gets brave enough to come out if he is still hanging around the area. Thank you for your advice

Isabella Felder Check under decks, porches, out buildings, crawl spaces. My indoor boy got out and went under a neighbor's deck. He went all the way back up to the foundation of the house. 🙏🙏🙏

Cats sometimes get locked in bats, sheds or attics; even those of neighbors. Please check those types of places. Put their dirty litter box outside so they can smell their way home. Also post on Dogs of North Carolina’s cat page, PawBoost, the Nextdoor App and as a last resort Craigslist. Always go to the shelter in person or check the GCAS Intake Page. I hope you get your baby back safe soon.
