Here's some encouraging words in your search, from a happy cat owner who did find her kitty: "Thank you Cindy -- great advice! We JUST found him tonight and that's actually how we found him -- calling for him again, then finally hearing some meowing at the house behind ours. He had not gone far and probably has been hearing us call for him all week!"

Often, kitties don't roam very far, unlike dogs....they will hole up & hide, not responding to calls from owner. I would walk the area they went missing every day, at various times; when not alot of traffic or sounds...calling & then listening, over & over. Don't feel silly, your cat may not answer , especially at first, til you really move him with your voice. Listen carefully for the little tentative meow, near garages, fences, shrubbery & buildings - anywhere he could be hiding. Best wishes
