Vicki Metz I have a GSP they are all that thin until they get old they are crazy bird dogs with enormous amount of energy up until my girl turned 9 she ate 9 cups of good a day and weighed 45 now at 11 she eats 4 cups and weighs 60. These dogs do not put on weight. Mine has cardiomyopathy otherwise she’d still be 45 and just as crazy.

I definitely am! Poor thing was so cold, hungry, and dirty so I got him cleaned up and got him filled up and he is catching up on some much needed sleep. Gonna take him to the vet tomorrow morning to see if he’s chipped and if not he has definitely found his fur-ever home.

Justin, it takes some time for an animal to start showing ribs like that. Dog has either been missing for a while or very neglected. If the latter, sounds like you’d be a better human for this fur baby.
