Sammy is a large black domestic short hair with green eyes. He has a high pitched meow. He is chipped and we have the number. He's friendly but shy and possibly a little skittish around strangers. He will hide.

UPDATE: We thought we found him but this cat has no chip. Ours (supposedly) does. So we're caring for this "possibly ours" cat while we keep an eye on both the found, and now lost, listings. Taking him to our vet for a check up and more thorough chip scan on Tuesday. We're also keeping signs up and continuing night / dusk call-out walks. In the meantime, thanks to everyone who's helped.

Keep a close daily check on the Pinellas County Animal Services website, under their Found Pets section. Be sure to scroll down on the center of their Found Cats page to see all cats. Hopefully, the cat has a microchip will help a lot too.
