Found/Stray Cat in Brooklyn, NY 11220

On the evening of June 30, I received a message from a friend saying that a cat had been found near Brooklyn 9th Ave & 58th–59th Street. He is a male cat and appears to be a hse cat. When found, he was very dirty, with dried feces stuck around his rear, and the weather was extremely hot. A few of us helped him by: * Giving him a bath and drying him * Preparing a litter box * Providing cat treats, canned food, and drinking water * Setting him up somewhere safe to rest temporarily It was already very late that day, and the nearby veterinary clinics were closed. This afternoon (July 3), we took him to a veterinary clinic to scan for a microchip, and no chip was found. The vet’s initial assessment: * 🐱 Male cat (whether neutered can be confirmed by private message) * 🎂 Around 2 years old * 🐾 Purebred cat (not a typical stray) If this is your cat, or if you know his owner, please contact me.
