Honestly, I believe he was abandoned. He has no microchip and no tags; I have no information regarding his owners. He was found on Old Montgomery Road in Willis, Texas. All I can tell you is that he is an extremely sweet boy; he responds to many commands and has clearly been very well trained. He has a good appetite and shows no signs of abuse, though he may have a slight allergy—perhaps to dust or grass. I believe that when I rescued him, he had been lost for only a day or perhaps just a few hours; he was utterly exhausted, panting heavily, and looked incredibly sad. In his eyes, I see nothing but a longing for love—lots of love. However, I already have three pets at —all rescues themselves—who are still struggling to fully adjust. We also have children, and between my own back issues and my husband’s recent knee surgery, we find it incredibly difficult to give every one of them the care they deserve. We implore you: please help us find a new for this beautiful, calm, and sweet boy.
