Call/text Babs Fry, in San Diego ASAP . She donates her time to help people. She’ll tell you what to do and what not to do! Leave gate and door open and put your stinkiest laundry outside1-619-249-2221 - dirty underwear and socks - they’ll try to smell their way home. Don't walk all over spreading your scent looking for them. You need huge full size neon poster board signs saying LOST DOGS and DO NOT CHASE on top - an 8 x 11 photo with phone number underneath. Check www.24Petconnect.com. AVAS does not use 24Petconnect. Dogs in the care of AVAS can be viewed on the Adopt a Pet website or on the sheter website. https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/82156/available-pets/pets#current_page=1#clanId=1 Put at every intersection near you. Print flyers exactly the same and hand out to neighbors. Babs's help is FREE. She runs a nonprofit dedicated to helping find lost dogs. Post on www.nextdoor.com also. Enter a large area because dogs could have been dropped at a different shelter.
