Demitrius Skrapates initially, I thought it was a coyote, too, as it did seem tall for a Shiba but the face and coloring looked more like a tall Shiba mixed with a Husky or a blonde Husky.

Autumn Sheppard-Blandi Thank you very much for letting me know as well as the detailed email. I checked the animal out and I believe it is a coyote. It seemed too big to be my dog though as well as the face I don't feel matched Spud's. I tried contacting the Department of Transportation to let them know but was unable to get anybody on the phone.
