🚨 LOST FOSTER DOG — Hampton & Valota, Redwood City THIS DOG IS FOSTERED THROUGH ROCKET DOG RESCUE. Our foster dog Chestnut slipped out around 9:15 this morning (Wed 8/12) near Hampton Ave & Valota Rd. PLEASE DON'T CHASE OR CALL HIM TO YOU while standing — he'll run. If you see him: • Get down low — sit or lie on the ground and look away. He will usually come toward you on his own. • Say his name softly: Chestnut. He knows it. • He hasn't had breakfast and is sometimes food motivated — tossing treats or bits of food on the ground can help. • If you can get hold of him, hang on and call/text us.
