Get flyers up soon and attach them to neon poster board like the ones below👇👇or use corrugated plastic signs(like the yard signs, sturdier). Put the flyers in plastic sleeves with the opening to the bottom so rain doesn't get in.
Be AWARE of SCAMS. People may contact you claiming to have your dog and asked for money or to send a code. Also the ones that say TEXT this number or has an INSTAGRAM link. ALL are scams. There's new scams out daily targeting owners of lost pets.
These are some good sites to post on, more helpful tips, make flyers, etc.
www.petfbi.org, www.petcolovelost.org and on www.lostmydoggie.com. The petcolovelost link should report lost to the Jacksonville Humane Society and Animal Care and Protective Services(double check). I'd also email both places to report lost, petsafetynet@jaxhumane.org and Jaxpets@coj.net.
Still check both places in person, very important.
