Message from Owner

Please help us bring our boy home. Our husky is missing, and our family is absolutely heartbroken. He is still young, easily frightened, and was rescued from a difficult situation before becoming part of our family. He isn't just a pet, he's my wife's emotional support animal, her constant companion, and a huge source of comfort in her life. He is microchipped and on a special diet, which makes it even more important that we find him quickly. We are deeply worried that he may be scared, confused, and trying to hide. He was last seen near 28248–28318 Historic Columbia River Highway in Troutdale. If you live in the area or are traveling through, please keep an eye out along the highway, nearby trails, wooded areas, parks, neighborhoods, the river ,and anywhere a frightened dog might seek shelter. Every set of eyes helps. My wife is devastated. She hasn't stopped worrying about him since he disappeared. We just want him safe and back where he belongs. Please check your yards, sheds, garages, under decks, and anywhere a frightened dog might seek shelter. If you see him, please don't chase him. Instead, contact us immediately with the location and any details you can provide. If you have any information, sightings, photos, or videos, please contact: Phone: Email: DavidMcCown543@gmail.com Every share, every lookout, and every bit of help means the world to us. Thank you for helping us bring our family member home.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house (EX Worn clothing / shoes from a family member/owner that the dog lives with.) Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Owners: Do not try and search for the dog - as your scent travels when you are out and walking all over can confuse the dog. The dog should only smell your scent near your home. Never underestimate the ability of a dog to find their way home using their nose. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing to see if it has been picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely. Beware of scammers.
