This is a sad story. My husband works in Elktom MD but we live in Media Pa. On his lunch break behind a pizza place he saw this long haired cat and inquired within the food establishment. They said the cat's owner had past 8 years ago and the terrible family just opened the door and let the poor cat out. He has been waiting 8 years for his owner eho has past to return and has never left that area. I rescue from my privately and heard about this sad case and wanted to help in any way I could. I would be willing to catch, vet , and transport if anyone has enough love to help rescue this older loyal cat who has been sadly waiting his whole life for his deceased owner to return back. It would preferably need to go to a were there are no dogs or cats as I dont know how they would respond with other pets. I would take this sweet baby in but I am already at max capacity with rescues. Please reach out to me if anyone would be willing to open their heart and a loving to this poor forgotten sweet soul.
