Found calico cat! Friendly, possibly missing 🐾 This calico cat has been on my property for over a week and has recently started coming up to my front door and not leaving. She appears to be either a stray or possibly someone’s missing pet. She had been sleeping in a tree on my property, but I made her a small temporary cat hse to help keep her dry during the rain. She is very friendly and a total people cat. She purrs, meows, rubs against you, and even does the classic kneading. She tries to come inside and clearly wants to be around people, so she does not seem feral. I am only able to provide temporary help and can’t care for her long term. I have dogs, and there is also wildlife on the property (a bobcat was just spotted today very close to where she has been staying), so it is not safe for her to stay outside here. If this is your cat or you recognize her, please message me. If not, I am also looking for a foster, rescue, or anyone willing to take her in and give her love and a safe place. Located in Harlingen (Briggs Coleman between 499 & 508). Please share 💛
