Kristine Anderson we are doing that now getting trap set thsnks tonan amazing person in that area. Ive alerted all shelters nearby and local rescues. He does have a chip. I keep prayinh thank u.

Live trap as soon as possible covered with a blanket that has his scent on it. With the temperature it must be monitored often preferably with a trail cam. Here are some other tips I like to share. They are usually closer than you think and scared/hiding (unless not fixed). It can be over a week before they venture out for food. Don’t rely on neighbors seeing your missing kitty posts. *Live traps work well but must be monitored often. Talk to all neighbors and physically check yourself all surrounding sheds, garages, under bushes and decks (5 house radius). Give your mail carrier a pic with phone # on it. Check and post on Nextdoor, PawBoost, PETFBI, and Petco Love Lost. If they come back, chip and clip if not already done. 🐱

Kitty is on lovelost, pawboost and nextdoor. We are leaving food out, litter box, clothes, calling, next step camera and trap.

you could post on PawBoost Alert. And check with nearby local businesses and neighbors’ security cameras to see if they caught movement and direction of travel. Ask local patrol police to keep a lookout, as well as your postal carrier. Check deep window wells, under decks and heavy shrubs, and open and closed garage and shed doors. Leave a trail of scented smelly food (tuna, sardines, chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers) to draw attention to home. Leave blankets or clothes with yours and its scent by doors. Use a flashlight at dark to catch its eyes while calling its name and gently shake a bag of treats. My very best to you in hopes for a quick and happy reunion.

We are. He is eartipped and microchipped. He is not familiar with the area and is scared. I cant get up to MN until thursday to help im in NC working. Im just sick right now.
