My husband found this kitten on the side of Laurens Road in front of Hooters at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5. He stopped and looked and listened for a while for a mother cat or any other kittens but did not see or hear anything, so we brought it home to keep it safe. We plan to take the kitten to our veterinarian in the morning to be scanned for a microchip, although it appears too young to be chipped and looks approximately 5–6 weeks old (rough estimate). The kitten has a very calm demeanor and appears to be in good overall health. We haven’t noticed any obvious signs of fleas or ear mites, though it will be examined by our veterinarian. If this is your kitten or you have any information about where it may have come from, please send me a message. We’ll ask for identifying details before returning the kitten to help ensure it goes back to the right home.
