My cat Marty (also called Chuffy) was taken without my permission from the Teller hse in Uptown (Chicago) and ended up at Naperville Animal Control on January 12, 2026. I only recently learned this after contacting the VEG Emergency Veterinary hosp in Naperville, who confirmed he was taken there. I live in Chicago, not Naperville, so I did not know to check Naperville lost pet pages or local postings at the time. He was posted to the Naperville Police Department's Facebook page on January 12th. I am now hoping he may have been adopted. If anyone has any information about Marty’s whereabouts, please message me. I can provide photos and veterinary records to confirm ownership.

Call and visit your shelters and pounds. Someone could have picked your baby up. Also they can note that your kitty is missing and if she is turned in they will call you. It also doesn't hurt to call them often just in case.

My cat was adopted by a previous roommate. This roommate moved out, and adopted the cat. This old roommate was kicked out of their apartment, and the cat was removed without their knowledge (with their possessions). This happened back in January. The person who removed the cat made it known he was taken to the Naperville area, and I discovered his face on the Naperville PD page earlier this evening. So I am going to call them tomorrow, I hope he was adopted by a nice person/family. I would like to track him down and make sure he is okay.
