Lost Dog! We were driving through Santa Rosa today, stopped for lunch and our dog wriggled out of her harness and ran off in the Montgomery Village shopping center. She’s about 1.5 yrs old, very skittish (recently adopted) and will not come when called. A couple of people saw her near some stores but couldn’t get her. We spent some time walking and driving around trying to find her but she may be hiding. Please help us find her. Ellie, fluffy white/gray hypoallergenic mix.

When they’re recently adopted what is best practice to prevent this please?? Should they be held tightly for a few months (bond solidifying ?) before taking any risks of the dog fleeing?
