If she isn't in the house, be sure to canvass the neighborhood with flyers and personal communications. My Siamese spent three months (and a very rough winter) two long blocks away being fed regularly twice a day by some very caring people. They were finally able to get his rabies tag number from their doorcam, tracked it down, and called me. Yours is beautiful; hope she's just hiding in the house. They are very good at finding unimaginably small spaces....

They are masters at hiding and squeezing into small spaces. Use a flashlight to look in, under, behind all dark spaces so that their eyes glow. You can do this during the day, but especially at night when things are quieter. Check inside the house as well just in case (pull out dresser drawers, check up inside mattress box spring, recliner, sofa, etc) and leave some stinky wet food in different rooms in the house. Look up in trees and other high spots in case kitty climbed up to escape another animal. Do NOT put litter box or bedding outside as that can attract other animals/predators. Put some of your dirty laundry/worn clothing outside for the scent. Leave a door cracked open so kitty can get back inside. Set up trail cameras outside and use a humane trap that you can buy at a hardware store or borrow from a rescue. Ask neighbors to check garages and sheds. Hang LOST signs in your area. Post on Nextdoor app, Ring app, Pawboost, area facebook pages, and lost and found facebook pages. Make sure microchip information is accurate. Check local animal shelters in person. Check the 24petconnect website via zip code for intakes. Be careful of scammers contacting you about drone services, pet tracking or stories that your pet is at the vet and money is needed.

Does anyone have a recommendation on cameras? I’ve got an outside feeding station set up, but need to acquire a remote camera.

Tara Berger Already did… inspected all furniture bases for loose dust covers, opened everything that folds, removed all pillows and cushions, inspected all vent covers, and every accessible dead space. I hope he’s still in the house, but no sign he’s accessed food or water station. Outside feeding station is set up, but not on a camera yet.
