Have neighbors check garages and sheds. Have a tree out back? Check that too. Leave your garage door up a little so they can return home to a familiar place. Place a box outside with blankets or even the clothes you wore today so a cat can pick up the scent and make it home. If you are new to this area, have friends keep an eye out at your former home. And please: CHECK THE LOCAL SHELTERS DAILY I hope your kitty makes it back home safe very soon. Please make sure to get your cat chipped once they return, and PLEASE keep them indoors! Male wanderers tend to stay within a territory of about 150 acres, while females stay closer to home, roaming only about 40 acres. Talk to all your neighbors have them check their garages and sheds. Post on Facebook lost and found for your city. Post on Ring and Nextdoor. Put some of your unwashed clothes outside. Go outside shaking treats morning and night and make sure you look in bushes and under cars using a flashlight.

Go outside when it gets dark because cats are nocturnal animals and they will come home in the dark. As you know they're up all night as a rule that's because they're nocturnal so they will come home during the night or as soon as it gets dark so as soon as it starts to get dark you have to go outside and start calling him or her you can put the litter box outside and some of your clothing and you have to just stay out there and call and they usually come home when it gets dark. You can also go out walking when it gets dark he could be hiding under some bushes somewhere and he could be in anyone's garage so let your neighbors know to check everywhere their garages check your own garage check these places at cats get into and please let your neighbors know so they can check for you too to make sure that he's not stuck somewhere in their house or your house but cats will come home in the dark and usually people are asleep so they just leave so you must stay up. You can also put it on nextdoor.com in case somebody else has them and does not know who he belongs to that is your neighborhood and keep posting on here but when it gets dark go out there and call it and have your neighbors check everywhere look under bushes everywhere

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow
