Message from Owner

Gambit is a kitten and he was comfort, chaos, love, and home all wrapped into one tiny soul. The silence without him feels wrong, and I’d give anything to hear those little meows one more time. I miss my baby every second. Please help me find him

WHEN YOU LOSE A PET: Call one of these Animal Protection Services: You will be transferred if the call belongs to another area: 1. Clark County 702-455-7710 2. City of Las Vegas 702-229-6444 then #2 (They often are unable to answer their phone. Ask the dispatcher to take your message and forward it to them.) 3. North Las Vegas (702) 633-9111 Very important: Pawboost offers that you can print Flyers to post around your area. Check your posts often to see that they have not been removed. You also can handprint "lost" flyers around your area. Check often to see that the flyers have not been removed. Make a listing on “Petco Love Lost” for your lost pet. petcolove.org/Upload your missing pet’s picture. Their website uses an AI model that will automatically match other listings that may match the picture of your missing pet . Go daily, in person, to The Animal Foundation: 655 N Mojave Road, Las Vegas, Animal Foundation hours are 11AM-7PM Tuesday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. Call (702) 760-7387 for help! Or: (702) 955-5932 ext. 932 Email: lostandfound@animalfoundation.com - They are understaffed and overburdened. It is best that you go in person to look for your pet. The Animal Foundation is the central clearing house for lost and found pets and is the first facility to which the Owner will be directed to search for their pet. The Pet Owner has 72 hours to collect their pet at The Animal Foundation before the pet will be placed for adoption. 1. Go in person to The Animal Foundation. They often do not immediately upload new intakes on websites. Some animals may not be listed at all. The Desk Staff often are not aware of all the dogs and cats that are in the kennels. Bring your receipt of the vaccinations that your dog (cat) has had with you when you go to The Animal Foundation to look for your pet. 2. Notify your microchip company that your dog is missing. 3. Post on Craigslist under Community in Pets to prevent anyone from selling there.

If he is an indoor only cat he will not go far. Usually within a five house radius. He is hiding close by and will be elusive. Walk up and down your neighborhood while shaking your favorite bag of food or treats or whatever brings your kitty running to you at all times of morning , day and night. You may also want to consider using one of those toy laser lights at night to bring your cat out of hiding. Knock on neighbor’s doors and give them a good contact number in case they see him. Very important in case they are stuck in a garage or shed or God forbid even hurt. Not everyone will see your fliers and post. If you have a garage or front door, leave it cracked open just enough for kitty and leave bedding or clothing that has your scent, also leave food and water, but be aware of predators. Remember in most cases, he will be close by, so don’t give up and keep looking. You may want to consider borrowing or buying a humane trap. Be persistent and consistent and most importantly, Don’t Stop Looking! Not all cats will just show up at your door. It took us over a month to get our kitty home with the help of neighbors. God Bless you and your fur babies. Be aware of scammers. They ask for number codes and money.

Just admitted you don’t be prepared to a new pet. I am not judge you believe me. It’s just you need to prepare to new pet size small and prepare special place which is can stay for at least a few weeks I guess when you adopted from proper place they gonna tell you what you need to do and I guess you prefer gets from just random people, right?
