Thank you! My daughter rescued a Shih Tzu from a dog shelter (AKA dog pound) 12 years ago. He was running loose in Lancaster, CA. Never "fixed" and so "rough" looking, nobody wanted to adopt him. He was on his last day when she adopted him. We think that he was used as a "breeding dog", as she had an DA test done on him a few years ago, and he is a "purebred" Shih Tzu. Third generation. He has a loving home now, is a well-taken care of and I am his Shih Tzu grandma. God bless you taking good care of him. Praying for his safe return.
