I'm missing my precious 1-1/2yo cat Smokey. He is the sweetest cat in the world. He has a red reflective collar on. His mama and stepbrothers miss him dearly. He has a tipped ear, micro chip, fixed and current on vaccines. He's well loved and highly missed. Please help us find him.

Beverly Fahema DuPuy Ernest I know, I uninstalled and my friend installed it and we can't see the comments, it's odd because I can see and comment on everyone else's except mine and there's someone commented on it, grrrrr!!!

Sheri Smith Brakefield I don't know anything about that app or I'd try to help! That's very strange though, that you can't see the comments 🤷 doesn't make sense.

Beverly Fahema DuPuy Ernest I put him on the Neighbors app by ring, only it will not allow me to see the comments. It's frustrating. Thanks for your advice.

Sheri Smith Brakefield Be sure to contact the chip company and tell them that he's missing. Also make sure your contact info is up-to-date on their website. If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in the area in case he turns up. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Ask them if they had any visitors or contractors doing work on their houses around the time he went missing. If so, call the visitors and businesses and ask them if they had an accidental stowaway. Look up in trees in case he was chased. Walk the neighborhood in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call him in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if he likes that kind of stuff. If he's injured or scared, he's probably hunkered down and hiding, but he may not answer you when you call. That's just instinctual as a vocal cat gives away their location to predators, and an injured cat is prey. Put his beds/blankets and some of your dirty clothes on your porches and around the perimeter of your yard. When he comes home, you might consider building or buying a catio (some people have bought pre-made chicken coops and "attached" them to their houses with kitty access through a window); or, if you have a fenced-in yard, consider putting up cat-fencing or coyote rollers on top of the fence to keep him safely in your yard (both can be DIY). Good luck ❤️

Beverly Fahema DuPuy Ernest indoor/outdoor Jessamine Rd. The other picture was taken with a different camera so it's more golden in color.

Can you give us a nearby cross-street? Augusta Rd is very long 😞 Is he indoor only, or indoor/outdoor?
