Call all local Vets also animal rescues and RSPCA as well as any local pet stores. Make sure that your animals are microchipped and all of your details are up to date. You can update your pets microchip details online or by phone with their particular microchip company or at any Vet clinic. Check your whole home and yard firstly. Some people put out fresh sardines, warm roast chicken meat or whatever is the cats or dogs favourite food is and you could also put out some catnip out for cats as well. The smells of their favourite foods could very well lure them out of hiding or back home if nearby. Door knock the area and the neighbourhood where they went missing and put out flyers. If you've just moved areas, when your pet went missing, you may well have to also check your old neighbourhood as well in case they've tried to return there. Ask neighbours and people in your immediate area to check their security cameras for any sightings of your pet. If you are worried your pet may have been stolen dont delay in making a Police report. Post on other lost pet pages and all local community pages as well. Actively keep looking for your pet daily. Go to the RSPCA holding facilities in person to make certain your pet is not there as they do not hold them for very long before rehoming.

Look late at night/early morning when the streets are quiet. Take a proper torch so it can light their eyes up. They are likely to be hiding somewhere nearby. Door knock. Check neighbours garden beds, sheds, garages … anywhere a cat would think they’d look hidden. If there’s anywhere with tall/solid fences nearby that they would have trouble getting back over, check those yards. They’re usually likely to come home around 3/4am if they are going to try get home themselves, leave something open if you can. Hope they come home soon 🤞
