I had an indoor cat slip out a window once. Called her and called her and she never came out. Then at night I went out and sat on the deck near the window she fell out. Just made quiet sounds to assure her it was safe. She finally came out she was holding under some brush in the yard but bc it was so thick I could not see her. Also if you have any things that make sounds like you would when feeding him such as tapping a fork on the bowl or shaking the bag/box of dry food, running the can opener. Anything he may associate with food. Good luck hope he comes home soon.
