Message from Owner

Please help us find our cat, Stinkie. Last seen Saturday, April 4th. My son is heartbroken. She has been with us since she showed up at our back door when she was about 6 weeks old. Her ear had been chewed and she had a hurt paw and was infested with fleas. We nursed her back to health and recently taught her how to use the doggie door to go outside to the bathroom. She may have also been pregnant.

PLEASE when you get Stinkie back home, have her spayed! You can email Floyd Felines at floydfelines@gmail.com for information on low-cost resources. The shape she was in when she showed up at your door is the fate of way too many kittens. Spaying her will help keep her healthy and will reduce the chances of her roaming, as she has now. *Use a flashlight and look anywhere she could hide - under houses, porches, steps, behind shrubbery and any OUTBUILDINGS she could have gotten closed up in. A flashlight will reflect her eyes. Pregnant cats will try to find a 'nesting' place... *Post BRIGHTLY COLORED flyers with her picture and your contact info on them. Not everyone does social media and flyers will be visible to kids, neighbors and delivery people *Look UP trees in case something chased her *Check near sources of water *Go out early mornings and late evenings when it's quiet to call and LISTEN for her. If she's scared or unwell she may not respond immediately to being called, but she may 'answer' you *Check other Lost/Found Pets sites and Nextdoor. Some people will post on one and not others *Be sure to check at PAWS, IN PERSON and often *Check your vehicles! Cats will seek out the warmth of vehicle engines. Look under the hood and in the wheel wells I hope you find her soon...

Tell your friends to share it on their Facebook and news feed and next door and Paws. Check vets and shelters prayers. If you have woods around check them. Maybe you could get a megaphone speaker to call out to this baby. Put pictures on your car with info maybe someone will see it. Offer a reward for help. Put pictures on your mailbox. Put pictures around everywhere. Check to see if there are cameras around the area. They are two shelters in Bartow County. Put clothes outside to smell. Put tuna outside to smell. Check tree's and hiding places. Put on Petfinder with Paws.
