Hello, we adopted Wash a little over a month ago and he quickly fit into our hearts and family. He was on his regular walk and he collar snapped and he went RUNNING. We chased he down for 2 hours with help from the neighbors of neighborhoods we were running through. He's very friendly but would not approach anybody close enough to grab a hold of his collar with the tags on him. He will run if you try to chase him. He has been hurt, he was hit by a car on his back legs and he's bleeding from a cut somewhere around his neck or shoulder. We just couldn't keep up with chasing him and lost sight of him. Miles from home, we called a Uber to take us home to get our car to start looking for him that way. We still couldn't find him. We called animal control and alerted them to the last area that he was seen that he does have tags.He is micro-chipped. Very friendly and very interested in other dogs. He's still very puppy-ish, he jump and nips when food is giving to him but he has VERY HURT ME, its just an annoyance. He responds to "gentle" when hes given treats and won't snap. He does also know basic commands but he wasn't responding. Please, help us find our fur-baby.
