He may be an in/out cat who was .. out. Knock on doors & talk to people on the street - they may know of her/him - someone may be out looking for their cat.😕 File a FOUND report with Toronto/other Animal Services & rescues in case their owner goes there looking for him. Also post on neighbourhood social media sites. Make sure you don’t just hand him over to anyone - they should have other photos of him Etc to prove ownership. Take the cat to be scanned for a microchip at a vet tomorrow (free service) to try and find his owner. The vet may even know of him! Keep safe until you find his owner.🥰 Or, let him be so he can go home on his own/live his life.

Check the website for Toronto Animal Services…their Lost Pets section. You could post on neighbourhood Facebook groups and/or make posters. Please INSIST on proof of ownership (photos, vet records) before letting the cat leave with anyone who claims it’s theirs. Any vet will check it for a microchip free of charge, if you can get it there and back safely. (The cat looks relaxed, so I assume you’re cat-savvy!😁)
