This little fella ran into my apmt and is so scared of leaving. She was very thirsty, so she has been feed and watered. She’d on my patio with me, but she needs to leave tonight. My family is deathly allergic. I’d rather take her to her family than a shelter.

Please don’t take her to animal control. They will euthanize her . shelter. I think the humane society charges you for taking them in . As for rescues , all I know is my personal experience with one of them . My cat Delphine was taken to that rescue, without my consent and the director/ coordinator refused to give her back , despite multiple pics , all because of the fact that I had no microchip or vet paperwork in my name . I wasn’t even told the steps necessary to take to possibly get her back . The volunteer was very nice and wanted to let me take her but was overuled by the director. She was eventually adopted out to a total stranger. It’s been a heartbreaking several months now . Obviously this has left a bad taste in my mouth about rescues and other corporate shelters . I’d take her to a vet to check for a microchip, or try to find a good home for her yourself. Too bad you can’t keep her
