Message from Owner

Casper ran out at 9pm on Nov 27. He is wearing a black leather collar with rhinestone letters spelling out his name. It contains a gold metal ID tag with our address and phone number and an AirTag. He is also wearing his teal blue harness. His tag keeps pinging on the highway behind Clarion Rd. He could be trapped or hunkered down in a pipe or ditch. Please call or text if you see him. Please check your sheds and grges, under porches and bushes. Please and thank you!

How long will the air tag stay active? Would definitely go there tonight when it is quiet (from 1-5am) while tag is still pinging. Take the treat bag and shake it. Take his blanket with you so he can catch the scent. Would definitely be in that area in the wee hours of the morning when he is not too scared to come out -- dress warmly and hang out there, quietly calling his name. Good luck!

CASPER is adorable. Now let’s find him. He will be very nervous and likely hiding not far from your home. When you’re out searching this evening take a flashlight with you. The light will shine off his eyes and makes it easier to locate him. Look under every veranda and bush and any tiny place he may be hiding. Ask your neighbours to search their garage and under their porch or perhaps they will allow you to. He may have also climbed up a tree, so look there as well. Take a bag of treats and shake them while calmly calling his name. Put up posters and contact shelters in your area every 3 days to see if he has been turned in. If you haven’t yet gotten him micro chipped, please do, so should this happen again he can be returned to you. GOOD LUCK ❤

Pls check w all your neighbors to let them know u r missing your cat. Ask to check all sheds porches etc. And bushes. Usually they don't go far at first. Timing is essential. Posters help too. Go out at night with flashlight and shine into dark area. Eyes will reflect light. Bring fave treats. Do not put out litter. You can put out kitties bedding or your clothes/blankets during the day.
