Do you recognize this cat? It was abandoned at our doorstep (Cat’s Cradle) in Harrisonburg between 6:34pm last night and 9:18 this morning. She was left in her crate with no food, water or place to use the bathroom. She was covered in her own feces and urine. She is not microchipped. If this is your cat, please call us so we can learn of her medical history. Just FYI if you are ever inclined to drop an animal: Section 3.2-6504 - Abandonment of animal; penalty. No person shall abandon or dump any animal. Violation of this section is a Class 1 misdemeanor. Call us at 540-433-1135 if you own this cat or recognize the cat.

Go out tonight to look for her with a flashlight. Look in and under bushes, under sheds and decks, in garages, in storm drains and ditches. Put out an article of your dirty clothing. Provide fishy cat food and water on your porch. Do not put out a dirty litter box, though. Don’t give up looking for her. Make flyers with her photo and your contact information. Knock on your neighbors’ door and let them know. Go physically to the shelters in your area to look for her.
