I did a TNR on 2 ferals in my area. The big boy......I named him "Pops" because he was populating all over the area. Most of his offspring were killed, etc. I trapped him and his daughter and had them spayed and neutered and I failed at releasing them......they are now loving house cats in my home and they do NOT EVEN WANT TO GO OUT! My domestic cat gets along with them. The male turned into a big sweety and sleeps with my domestic cat who is a neutered male as well. The female still won't let me touch her but she is a good cat...they all use litter and there is no fighting or anything.....I have a hard time believing this could happen but I live in New England and i feel good about the fact that they are loved and fed and are safe.....it is worth it to keep them indoors. I never though Pops would love to be a house cat but he loves it.......cats do not need to go out.

Collars don't save cats from cars, the number one killer of cats, or coyotes, or stray dogs, or getting stolen, or getting in cat fights, or many of the other outside incidents that injure and kill cats.
