I'm so sorry about your kitty. Here are some tips that helped me find my little guy when he got out. My kitty got out in the middle of winter for 11 days. I put flyers out everywhere and some very nice friends of a friend of mine saw my flyers and said he was living under their outside stairs. Flyers work. Also I was told to go out at night when it's quiet and call your kitty calmly. They are scared when outside even if it's your voice they hear so shouting or calling loudly isn't recommended. Also using a flashlight while looking in garages and bushes helps. Cats eyes glow when a light beams on them. Shaking treat bags can help too. Don't do a litterbox that can attract dangerous animals that could hurt Kitty. You can do a piece of dirty laundry of yours that they can be attached too. One more thing also is to get a humane trap from a local shelter and put the smelliest food inside. Believe it or not KFC chicken has helped attract cats more than any food lol. Also cameras can help also to see if your baby comes around when you're not home. I wish you the best of luck and hope. 💜💜💜💜🍀

Call and visit your shelters and pounds. Someone could have picked your baby up. Also they can note that your kitty is missing and if she is turned in they will call you. It also doesn't hurt to call them often just in case.

Ask your local mailman if they've seen your kitty or if they can keep an eye out.

Orange ginger cat lost If you have lost a cat read my first long paragraph. If you found one, Please read the last paragraph The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. Immediately anything with the cat's scent on it and anything that stinks of you like your smelly socks something that you sweated in overnight and your stinky sneakers even your dirty clothes and your underwear! Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week sleeping in the bushes and coming out at dusk Dawn and late at night. These are good times to take walks shaking the treat bag and calling for them. Cats can smell up to a whole mile away. So do that immediately and also put this on nextdoor. com and the other lost and found pet sites. Go on those sites looking at pics of found cats too. There might be a match.They tend to come home late at night or early in the morning so if you can keep a window cracked or a door cracked so at least you hear them. Good luck IF YOU HAVE FOUND A CAT: Please post this on all the lost and found pet pages in your county as well as all the neighborhood pages. Look on those pages just look at the photos try to make a match to someone that lost this cat. Any vet will check for a chip for free. In the meantime please give food and water to the kitty and shelter if you can.

Put a box of your dirty clothes and linens outside your door, hopefully the scent will guide her home. Do not use the litter box, it attracts other predators like coyotes.
