Thank you for helping this pup. Please notify the local police department and the county dog kennel. Any vet's office should scan for a micro chip for free If the dog is wearing a rabies tag or county license, those can be looked up and will give the owner's info Also ask the mail carrier in the area if they recognize this dog. Hang flyers in the area at vet offices, stores, pharmacies, libraries and at intersections. Owner may not have social media Please require proof of ownership such as vet records and pictures of the dog from anyone claiming the dog

Please keep warm inside, feed, water and keep safe till owners are found- ask for ID and pics. Check local vets and shelters. Hang flyers, talk to neighbors, list on Pawboost
