This is Jane Doe, she was a shelter dog and recently got adopted Saturday September 5th and her new owner was walking her along grand hogback in rifle when she ran off and has not been seen since. I'm hoping to find her for him so she can finally have a safe home with the love she deserves.

Owners - Go back to the location where the dog went missing as the dog will usually circle back to the location where they first went missing eventually. Stay there - in one localized area and set up a scent station using a scent that the dog is familiar with - worn clothing or shoes from the owner. Hang that scent out high so that it can travel and guide the dog back to that area. Post fliers with your contact information and dogs picture in the location that the dog went missing --especially for those not on social media. If the dog is spotted the information can help provide what direction it was traveling. Check with local animal shelters in case he was picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely. Do you know anyone with a thermal camera drone? That can help with an aerial search. All the best.

Create a scent station - unwashed items with you and/or your dog’s smell. Especially important if in an unfamiliar area! If you have another dog, walk the area with it on a leash. Check nearby Ring/security cameras in the area. Post simple signs. Check shelters in person!!! Beware of anyone saying they have your pet and asking for money or a code as this is a scam. If you see your pet, know it may be scared and bolt.
