I drove around the entire area asking if anyone knew who this dog belongs to or where he came from, but unfortunately I had no luck finding his owner. I am unable to keep him at my home, as I already have three Chihuahuas and two small children. Unfortunately, I cannot continue caring for him while we search for his owner. If anyone is able to provide him with a temporary home until his owner is found, it would be greatly appreciated. He is a very well-behaved dog: quiet, does not bark, and is very friendly with other dogs. He does not appear to have fleas or ticks, and he is not disobedient at all. He is sweet, calm, and seems to be well cared for. Please share this post so we can help reunite him with his family.

Just suggestions to possibly help find the owners: Please check for a chip. Any vet or petco should be able to do this for free. Have them scan the whole body as chips can move. Check/post on next door app. Check post on pawboost, lost & found pets of Cypress. I know you posted on the fb page, just checking if you looked through them to see if anyone has posted already looking for them. You might also try walking them in the area you found them to see if they lead you to their home. If possible can you put up posters and/or knock on doors near where they were found for people not on social media. You can also check area vets to see if they know the dog, anyone has come looking for it, or if you can put up a flyer there. Make sure anyone claiming to be the owner has proof (pictures/vet bills/etc) Thank you so much for keeping them safe and trying to find the owners.
