Message from Owner

My kitty has never ever been outside before. It’s cold and it’s getting late. I would do anything to have her right now. If anyone has seen her then please— she is very loved and very missed. I want her .

Most lost cats come home/ are found between 2-5 am so that’s a good time to look. It’s better not to chase, lost cats are even more skittish and spooked outside and will even run from their owners. If possible, it’s better to sit at ground level and talk in a normal voice, which will bring them closer to you. Even better, bring some food, smellier the better - tuna, shrimp, rotisserie chicken. If you can safely leave a door or window cracked open specially at night, the cat might walk back in. Flyers in the area and with nearby vets and shelters help too. They can get locked by mistake in sheds garages and bats, ask neighbors to check and if they can leave doors open for a while. A frightened cat in hiding probably won’t come out when people are around.

Look at night with a flashlight while calling her name. Look especially under bushes and in neighbors yards garages and sheds. Look up in trees, Leave something outside with her scent on it like her bedding. Leave something outside with your scent on it like an unwashed piece of clothing. Leave out smelly cat food. Hang signs with her photo. Call and visit local shelters and veterinary offices. Good luck!🍀

Omg- please put out her litter box and stand vigil. Keep calling for her especially in the quiet of the night and morning. Check with neighbors and their cameras. Usually stay close to home so keep calling for her. Put up laminated signs tomorrow with a reward. My prayers

Sara Logan indoor cats usually stay very close to home hiding -- use flashlight to catch gleam in eyes to look under porches, decks, vehicles, bushes, lawn furniture, leaves, etc -- in garages, sheds, & other buildings -- on roofs or in trees Leave article of your worn clothing with your scents out by entranceways to lure her in -- take your dogs out for a walk & hopefully they will be able to find her -- I'm sharing to Lost and found cats from WNY -- Good luck
