Please help us find the out dog Bear. We went to my daughter 5th grade promotion ceremony and when we got back home he was gone. Last seen around 5:30 pm .We got back home at around 9:00 pm. We went all around the block looking for him. We contacted the police department and made report. Please help bring back home.

Irma Vela was he outside when he went missing or in the house? I'm just wondering how he got out of the house when your family went to your daughter's promotion.

Anya Mucha yes. For 5 years he went missing. He was chipped. We looked for him but never found him. I was broken and thought I never see him again. I received the best news past Friday May 8th. My beloved Bear was with them! I went to pick him up Monday. The sheltered verified all my information. He was chipped and registered to me. They did tell me he had a collar and that someone else must had him this time he was missing. They told me they tried to contact the people but they did not answer. I asked them is there anything else I need to do and they said no. I had provided what they requested. When Bear saw me he was so happy to see me, he wagged his tail jumped on to my legs so I can carry him and he was licking me. I know he remembered me after all this time. My kids were so happy to see him as well. I was feeling so blessed. I believed it was a miracle from God that he brought him back to me after all this time. Yesterday, we went to my daughter’s 5th grade promotion at school. We said to him we will be back soon and when we came back he was gone. I am once again devastated as I was 5 years. For those commenting on how irresponsible the owner is you must not be a pet owner as this can happened to anyone. It is something out your control .Shame on those for saying those things without knowing the person and the situation. If it wasn’t for Bear getting lost in the first place by the people who had him recently I would have not seen him again. Like I said I had lost Bear 5 years ago. Honestly I never ever thought I would see him again. But God has ways. I got to see him. I am thankful for the people who had him these past 3 years. I am sure they love Bear as much as we do. He is such a sweet loving little boy. But I am not ok with people spreading false information about the situation without knowing the full story. It not ok and it is vile.

M Lynn Hamilton Shafer I beg to differ! I don't pay taxes to have the police force look for a dog running unleashed that is owned by yet another irresponsible owner.

Don't forget to go check in person too. ■ TIPS: https://peacefulsoulsanimalrescue.com/what-to-do-if-youve-lost-your-dog/ ONCE DOG IS FOUND: 🐾 🐾 ●●** Please make sure to get your dog CHIPPED/ REGISTERED/WITH TAGS. This helps ensure your dog gets home if it gets lost again. ●●Please consider a GPS collar for live tracking updates. This is especially important for runners, like Huskies/ German Shephard's for example. ●●**Also please put a LOCK 🔐 🔒 on your fence gate if you have one. This helps keep dogs in & dog thieves out!!** So many dogs get lost this way! Hope you find your fur baby soon. 🐾 🐕 🐕 🐾 🐾 dogHelp find your dogs Do: Wait patiently at the scene for as long as possible. Stay put so your dog can come back following your scent. “Let the dog come back to you.” When you must go home, take a dirty sock, t-shirt, or underwear that has been close to your skin and place them outside of your home. This is another scent lure. Set up a “meat trap” using odorous meats. This is done based on investigative work. For example, after a neighbor saw your dog running up a hill, the meat and water would be placed at the foot of the hill. Broadcast that your dog is missing using social media, posters, and word of mouth. Ask people to report sightings rather than attempt to retrieve your dog. She will be frightened and run away again. Use sighting reports to use scent based lures like clothing or food. Leave doors open so that your dog has a way to get inside when they return home. Do Not: Leave the scene and start searching for your dog. You are spreading your scent and making it more difficult for your dog to come back to you. Close up your house so your dog has no way of coming inside when they return. Chase your dog or yell their name. This will only drive them further

Julie J Ashley explain what? If you have questions, then ask the party involved. I don't control what these people do.
