Get flyers up in area asap Only way to get sightings Actively search Get a thermal drone to help asap Put flyers in plastic page protectors where opening is at bottom so water doesnt get in Big picture of dog and phone number Put out in front of your house some of the dogs belongings (bed toys blanket) as well as owners dirty clothing for scent (include dirty socks) Ask neighbors to check outdoor cameras Go door to door with flyers

NO LINKS: I’m ➡️VOLUNTEEtR NJ DOG TRAPPERS BELOW⬅️. *Ask locals for a trapper recommendation. If one of the following trappers are not available, ask your local animal control, ASPCA, Humane Societies and local rescues if they can help trap. If they cannot, ask if you can borrow their equipment (humane trap, surveillance pool cameras, drone, etc). *1st Notify animal control, non emergency police & shelters *Notify Microchip company; make sure contact info is UTD *Also share to your local township/county Facebook pages & engage your community. FLIERS generate sightings. Once there’s a sighting, a trapper would set up a feeding station & humane trap. Contact a trapper, so they’ll be ready at the last sighting. *If there are no recent sighting, hang & distribute more fliers. Fliers generate sightings and awareness. *On Facebook: Search Buddha Dog Rescue & Rec. page and read the section “LOST PET Things To Do”. She has a great flier template & guidance. *When posting missing pet pages, be VERY careful of scams. Do not send $ or codes to anyone. Often, scammers will say “Go to Instagram” <— but don’t! Most lost pets are networked in Facebook & Nextdoor app. Many reputable trappers & trackers are volunteers. ⬇️NJ VOLUNTEER TRAPPERS⬇️ *Buddha Dog Rescue. To request help go to the Facebook page. *Bailey’s Bridge to Home Rescue & Recovery. Kathleen Tortu-Bowles. (856) 316-6812 *Sadie’s Lost Dog Search and Rescue. Serving Ocean, Forked River, Eastern Burlington & parts of Monmouth County. Melissa Ann (732) 664-0003 *Chasing Tails Trap and Rescue. Serving: Cumberland, parts of Atlantic, Cape May & Salem Counties. Robin Bundy. Assists animal control when needed. Go to the Facebook page to leave a message. Tri-Borough Lost Dog Trackers Search & Rescue - John Martinez *Hound Hunters NJ send message through the Facebook page. Will go to Hunterdon County. *K911 Lost Dog Search Inc, Team Ruby Quackertown, PA - (Bucks County) but will come to parts NJ in some cases. *Check notifications on Ring Doorbell & ask neighbors to check their rings *Go in person to shelters to see if your pet is there & ask shelter(s) if they can help trap if a trapper is not available *LOST PETS ARE MOST ACTIVE AT DAWN & DUSK. If you are searching for your pet during these hours, search smart. Carry “bait” & leash. *Dogs know their owner’s scent & their own. Leave out worn items like socks, T-shirts etc. & their own bedding, toys, etc. *Post on NextDoor app to reach more locals *Make colorful lawn signs and put at intersections. https://petcolove.org/lost
