Oh no! I’ll keep an eye 👀 out for your pet. In the meantime, check with local shelters in our area and put up posters where your pet was last seen. Don’t forget to file a missing animal report You can also Notify (9 ..0.. 3) …… 2..5..4 …… 50 ……65 ) they specialize in reuniting lost or stolen pets. They found mine in less than two days after i notify them! Give them a try; hopefully, they can help you get yours back. The sooner, the better. By the grace of God, your pet will be found!

Lost Cat Collaborative Your best bet is to set up a humane trap as a feeding station to attract kitty. Prop the door open and place a dish of a favorite food just inside the trap. Some cover the trap, others don’t. You will need a game camera to monitor the trap. If you see that kitty eats the food, move it in towards the trip plate a little each night until it's after the trip plate, then set it to trap. Never leave the trap unattended for long periods. Cats can freeze in the winter or heat stroke in the summer. Also, put a box with some of your unwashed laundry outside the trap so kitty can smell you. Place a dirty sock inside the trap but don’t impede the trip plate. Cats love feet; they contain the most scent glands. Kitty is now in flight or fight mode and its first instinct is to hide as close to its escape point as possible. It will not meow when you call; it probably will not respond if you shake a treat bag. It's terrified, especially if it’s an indoor cat and she will probably be afraid of you in the outside world. Again, get a game camera; Amazon has some wifi cameras for $39 and cellular cams for $69. Get two or three if you can. Place them around the property, especially near any spot it can squeeze in to hide. The more likely scenario is that your lost cat is terrified, hiding out somewhere nearby. We’ve seen cases where a cat has been missing for weeks or months, but is eventually found hiding just a short walk from home. Hand out flyers to your neighbors within a one or two mile radius; cats can wander. Any office supply business can make you laminated signs for phone poles. Offer a reward. Good luck.

Never give up hope. Cats have been known to find their way home months later. Do this ASAP. Put out items with your scent on it, like an item of dirty clothing, towel, blankets. Put vacuum dust near point of escape since It contains home scents in it. Leave out a bowl of water. (if indoor only cat, will be hiding in silence and fear, either in your yard or neighbors). DO NOT put litter box out it will attract feral cats and predators. Call as may times as possible, but night time is best because its quiet. Ask neighbors if you can check garages, sheds and under decks and their security camera recordings in the mid morning hours, since cats are more likely to come out when it's quiet during the night. Put up 11x17 poster in neighborhood. Use a flashlight at night because you will see a reflection of their eyes, look up trees and post on your local town community page and next-door neighborhood app.
