Creating a dog scent station from a rescue who helps reunite pets. Take an unwashed article of THE OWNERS clothing.( Socks , Sheet, Underware , ) & hang it in a tree on your property & and put an article of unwashed clothes on ground below tree. The wind will carry the scent. If there is another dog in the home take that dogs fresh poop and rub it on a rag & place in the tree. Open your gates. Your garage door , turn on all your lights. Put dog's bed or a rug on porch with a bowl of water. Please do this ASAP. A dog can find its way back from miles by following a scent. They don't operate like humans on sight or sound. Also saturate the area with bright flyers. Please do this immediately time is of the essence
