I guess there was some value in getting me to face reality and grieve! a newly adopted farm cat became an indoor city cat and came down with FIP before we could microchip and spay her.dhe ran away midway through her treatment and she had never been outside! the house is just a block away from busy p and ,7th streets and after amount with no word or sighting, we accepted the grim reality. checking in on the sight helped me face facts and we adopted a new kitty (spayed, chipped and all shots up to date) then, two months after Xena went missing, my housemates spotted her in the empty lot on the corner of P and 7th. she was semi-feral, scrawny but no signs of FIP, and now she's very pregnant! but hey, she's alive and glad to be home!
