With the weather being bad … rainy .. he might have taken refuge in a garage or shed and can’t get out. It happens all the time. We found one last week and believe he was there for quite some time. Ask all neighbors in your surrounding area to check. Sent from my iPad

Indoor cats usually don’t venture far from home. They’re frightened and will go into defensive mode. *** Very important *** The cat may have taken refuge in a neighbor’s structure/garage/shed looking for safety and warmth and can’t get out. It happens often. Go door to door and ask if anyone has seen her and ask them to check their garage, etc. *** even if they haven’t seen the cat. Put flyers on mailboxes/doors. If you have a sighting, set a trap with worn piece of your clothing on top where she was spotted... check cameras if you have them .. she might return at night when it’s quiet and you’d know she was trying to return … 🐾. They often will try to return to the spot they escaped from ….. Sent from my iPad

Flyers / flyers Flyers are effective in getting the message out about your missing animal . Many people aren’t on Facebook; don't know about local lost and found Facebook pages, don't have the internet, etc. so cover all your bases. Post flyers! Put on mailboxes and polls in your surrounding area in case someone sees or starts feeding your animal. Also, give one to your mailman ….he’s around the neighborhood often and might have a sighting.
