Could this be your kitty? Looked like a small white spot on chest. We are on Carleton St. We saw this cat next door earlier today

Put an article of his favourite humans dirty clothing outside close to home and also where he may have been seen. Search for him at dawn and dusk as this is when cats are most active. Keep checking with local shelters rescues vets and SPCA in case he has been found and turned in. Don’t give up.❤️

*Keep trying what's listed....All the best in your beautiful cat's return,~💜💜 **Cats that get outside, they tend to panic & hide, usually close to home. When it's dark out, go outside with a flashlight or headlamp & look under every bush, vehicles anything they might go to for safety around your home. Watch for their Eyes to light up with the beam of the flashlight. Let neighbors know, they sometimes will get locked in an open shed & Put posters up. Leave out some bedding/clothing of theirs & yours, but NOT the litter box. However some folks have set the litter box out with success - this is up to you. Going out with a bag of treats OR whatever your cat loves to eat... calling their name. IF at all possible to leave a window or door open, when it's quiet many have come back. Continue looking & calling. The cat is scared & hiding & may have been chased. REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT! Consider building a CATIO - there are fb pages & websites to google for ideas. I recommend you look in close neighbours outbuildings we found ours in backyard neighbor RV- they had looked but he hid we found him 3 days later he was fine but I hate to think if we hadn’t. Just have a flyer with you and kindly ask to have a quick look so you can call out to him as cats frequently hide when frightened. I hope kitty is home 🔜 🙏

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. If you are searching at night, use a flashlight as their eyes glow in the dark. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=388310901737884
