Friendly Border Terrier Mix (I believe) seen around Melrose Hill neighborhood

I saw this little dog with no collar around my neighborhood. He’s not neutered. I went to investigate further and he was pretty healthy and friendly. He even approached my dog who is considerably bigger. After a minute or so, he left and I wasn’t able to bring him home. He might be a stray, but his demeanor makes me think he does have a home.
