I am so sorry that your baby is missing and I feel for you deeply. I recently just found my baby after almost two weeks with out him. These are my tips and tricks to get your baby at your doorsteps.
1. Litter box needs to be outside at all times expect if raining. Don’t let anyone make you think that this brings stray animals, it genuinely doesn’t. I had it out every day that it wasn’t raining and none came by.
2. Please leave food out right by your door. I know that in certain locations this is risky but if you feel comfortable please leave food out. Your baby is hungry they want to find food.
3. Don’t stop putting flyers. Even in areas that you think aren’t necessary, that’s where you SHOULD. Neighbors are more than happy to help and if you put even a small reward it can motivate people. ( Search up what a good flyer looks like )
4. Post on PAWBOOST immediately. Sign up for all the lost pet groups on facebook and post your flyer there. POST ON NEXTDOOR, it is a neighborhood app where people report all of the things going on in their neighborhoods people that don’t have social media post a lot of found pets there.
5. Leave food stations near your house and in other neighborhoods. Get pieces of cardboard and leave pate stinky food or sardines, or tuna. And check on them daily to see if anything was eaten.
6. 24PETCONNECT .COM, is your best friend it shows shelters near you all sorts of breeds and specific shelters.
7. DO NOT LET FOXES AND COYOTES INTIMIDATE YOU. If there are bunnies and squirrels around your neighborhood they aren’t concerned with your cat, it’s a much harder prey.
8. If you have a camera please check it by the hour, sometimes they come back near the house but not in front of it.
9. CHECK UNDER PEOPLES DECKS. Cats love to hide and if your baby is indoor only it will not be going far at all.
10. CONTACT DOGSFINDINGDOGS. COM . They do k-9 tracking and even customize maps to help you know where your baby most likely is.
11. CHECK SHELTERS ALMOST EVERYDAY AND LEAVE FLYERS THERE AS WELL.
