What are the cross streets where he was lost. Tonight after 10 PM, go out on your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around your yard with the kitty treats, shaking the bag and calling your cat’s name. Use the flashlight to look in the bushes to see if you see your cat hiding. Print flyers with your cat picture and your contact information and take them around to your neighbor, ask them to call you if they see your cat. Also ask your neighbors if they’ve been in their shed outbuilding or garage since your cats been missing. Cats go in those places to hide to feel safe. Once the door is closed, they cannot be heard wanting to get out. You cannot hear a cat crying unless you’re standing next to the structure.

Check with Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center on Birdneck Road in person every day. Check the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center website and Facebook page for strays brought in every day. Cats usually don't roam too far from home so shake a container of the cat's kibble outside and call the cat's name repeatedly. Set out the cat's litter box and some bedding with the cat's scent on it
